Sean Wilson brings more than 20 years of executive, commercial and operational leadership experience, combining the ability to lead organisations, executive teams and large workforces with a hands-on track record of personally driving sales, marketing and commercial growth.
He has held CEO, Managing Director, COO, Commercial Director, National General Manager Sales & Marketing and National Sales Director roles, with P&L accountability of up to $85 million and leadership responsibility for teams of more than 300 people across executive, professional and frontline functions.
Sean is equally comfortable setting strategy with a Board, leading an executive team and driving organisational performance as he is working directly with customers, developing a sales pipeline, refining a value proposition, opening major accounts and closing deals.
Earlier in his career, including roles such as Key Accounts Manager and National Sales Director at Sensis and Commercial Director at Sharing Minds, Sean built a strong reputation for leading from the front. He has personally won and closed millions of dollars in sales while also building and leading high-performing sales and marketing teams.
This combination of executive leadership and practical commercial capability means Sean does not operate from the sidelines. He understands what it takes to build strategy and organisational capability, but also the day-to-day reality of generating leads, winning customers, negotiating deals and converting opportunities into revenue.
Throughout his career, he has applied this approach to deliver growth, turnarounds, transformation and value creation across startups, scale-ups, large enterprises, government and not-for-profit organisations.
Sean brings both the leadership capability to build and lead an organisation, and the commercial instinct and practical experience to help drive results from the front when required.

Sean is not an executive who has spent his career managing commercial teams from a distance.
Before moving into senior executive leadership, he built his career directly in sales, business development and key account management. He personally generated millions of dollars in revenue, won major national accounts, exceeded demanding sales targets and progressed rapidly through increasingly senior commercial roles.
That hands-on experience remains central to how he operates today.
Sean understands the practical reality of building a pipeline, prospecting, developing customer relationships, presenting solutions, negotiating commercial terms and closing business because he has personally done it throughout his career.
Sean was one of Sensis' highest-performing salespeople and sales leaders, progressing rapidly from Business Analyst through Accounts Manager, Senior Accounts Manager and Key Accounts Manager before being promoted to National Sales Director.

Within six months, sales grew from zero to more than $1 million, exceeding $2 million during the financial year, with more than 1,000 licensed users and 1,600 pre-paid professional service hours signed.
This experience demonstrates his ability to move beyond strategy and directly execute the activities required to commercialise a new product or service.
Sean's senior executive experience means he can lead strategy, organisational performance, people and operations at scale.
His sales background means he also knows when to step directly into the commercial process.
Depending on the needs of the business, he can:
Develop and refine a go-to-market strategy.
Build value propositions and commercial messaging.
Identify and pursue target customers.
Open doors and develop senior relationships.
Support sales teams on major opportunities.
Negotiate complex commercial agreements.
Personally assist with closing strategically important deals.

Coach sales and business development teams using practical experience rather than theory.
Sean brings the perspective of an experienced CEO and commercial leader, combined with the instincts and practical capability of someone who has personally built pipelines, won customers and closed millions of dollars in sales.
