Sean brings a perspective shaped by both sides of business: helping other people improve their businesses and being accountable for the performance of businesses himself.
He has built and sold businesses, led commercial and operational teams, managed substantial P&Ls, worked with Boards and business owners, and led growth, transformation and turnaround initiatives.
His executive experience spans sales and marketing, financial management, people and culture, operations, technology, product development and business strategy.
This breadth enables him to look beyond an individual problem, understand how different parts of a business affect one another and help owners and managers focus on the changes most likely to improve performance.
The objective is not to introduce unnecessary complexity or provide theoretical advice. It is to help people understand their options, make better decisions and execute practical improvements.
Every business is different. The starting point is to understand your objectives, current performance, challenges and available resources.
Depending on your needs, an engagement may involve:
Business review: Understanding the current position, identifying constraints and prioritising improvement opportunities.
Coaching and mentoring: Providing an independent perspective, working through decisions and developing your management capability.
Commercial advice: Addressing specific challenges involving sales, marketing, operations, financial performance or business development.
Action planning: Establishing clear priorities, responsibilities and practical next steps.
Ongoing support: Reviewing progress, challenging assumptions and maintaining focus on agreed objectives.
The scope can be tailored to the business, from a focused advisory engagement to ongoing coaching and mentoring.
Where a challenge requires deeper operational involvement, Sean can also draw on his experience as a CEO, COO and commercial operator to help move beyond advice into implementation.
Sean works with business owners, founders and managers who want to:
Grow revenue and improve profitability.
Strengthen sales, marketing and business development.
Improve operational efficiency and management processes.
Develop leadership and people-management capability.

His experience across professional services, HR and workforce services, technology, retail, health, membership organisations and other sectors provides a broad commercial perspective, while his approach remains tailored to the individual business.
Whether you need help working through a specific challenge, improving commercial performance or developing a clearer plan for growth, Sean brings the experience of a business owner, CEO and hands-on commercial operator to the conversation.
