He has successfully managed operations across a wide range of sectors—including HR, technology, healthcare, recruitment, media, government, retail, and more - overseeing complex organisations, large teams, and multi-million-dollar budgets.
Sean’s management experience spans every facet of business operations: strategy, sales, marketing, finance, HR, IT, legal, and governance. He has led national and international companies through critical phases of growth, transformation, and turnaround—often inheriting underperforming businesses and leading them to stability and profitability.
As CEO & Managing Director of BetterHR, he managed a company with over 60,000 users and more than 300 partners, including Telstra, ADP, and leading franchise groups. He oversaw full P&L responsibilities, led cross-functional teams, and implemented operational systems that improved efficiency, customer retention, and financial outcomes. His leadership was instrumental in achieving national awards for business excellence and sustained growth—even through challenging conditions like the COVID-19 pandemic.
In executive management roles at Zonda, Venturely, Sensis, and the Housing Industry Association, he managed large-scale operations and teams of up to 300 staff across multiple sites and borders. He also led national restructures, implemented scalable systems, and built data-driven management frameworks to improve performance and decision-making. He's also served on over 20 boards & committees.
With qualifications in business, management, marketing, and legal studies—and certifications in governance and company directorship—Sean brings both strategic vision and practical leadership to every organisation he serves.
